An interactive, entertaining, and Inspiring Instagram Live Show dubbed Spotlight, emerges from the stables of Makeup Ghana.

Starting from Sunday 26th May. 2020 at exactly 6 PM, the Beauty Community will be thrilled with the beginning of a new journey for participants as the quarantine season  lingers.

The forty minute online activity was conceived with the sole purpose of starting a conversation on the best possible ways to forge ahead as an industry by reflecting on the steps some trailblazers had to take to stand out, the very things that most people do not know about them and the best measures to adapt for tomorrow.

For upcoming stakeholders, this show allows you to be inspired by pacesetters while existing stakeholders will also be kept abreast of new developments by some amazing Industry regulators being featured as guests on the Spotlight.

Ghanaian Journalist, Adwoa Amofa Osei, better known as Adwoaloudgh is known for her interesting takes and highly opinionated attitude towards issues of human interest. With a particular interest in Entertainment, she’s currently the Head of GH One TV’s newsroom Entertainment Desk. One of the stories that went viral from her books is the captivating “Slaying 6 feet” report where she had to sleep in a coffin while shooting, a piece that made a lasting impression on viewers. The documentary which centered on the choices people make pertaining to the style of coffins to bury their loved ones went viral as Adwoa stated: “While some choose to have it all on earth, others choose to go down in style in what I call slaying in six feet”. Her flair for taking an interesting twist with everyday stories is one that will keep you wishing that the Spotlight was a daily show.

With a knack for beauty, being in front of the camera and talking, the ever bubbly Bervlyn Lerny Lomotey wears many hats. The television presenter who is also a makeup artist, beauty vlogger and digital content creator passionately shares knowledge about her skills and craft on her growing YouTube channel and Instagram account which led to her winning Vlogger of the Year at the 3rd Edition of the Ghana Makeup Awards. She has carefully honed her communication, public & human relation skills over the years and seeks to spread laughter, love and light everywhere she finds herself. We’re happy to see her shine through and interact with our guests on Spotlight.
