Elle; a worldwide lifestyle magazine of French origin that focuses on fashion, beauty, health, and entertainment, in a recent blog post, acknowledged Ghanaian brand; Skin Gourmet as part of 25 black-owned game-changing beauty brands that all should learn from.

Brands featured include Beauty Bakerie, The Afro Hair & Skin Co, Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Mensah, and our very own Raw Edible Skincare Brand – Skin Gourmet.

The feature by Charlotte Bitmead reads; “The brand’s philosophy revolves around whatever we put on our skin, ends up in our body so why shouldn’t the products be good enough to eat? The products feature no preservatives, are sustainably sourced and the packaging is also sustainable.”

The Ghanaian Beauty Industry has so much potential and it’s with achievements such as this that a lot of upcoming local brands and enthusiasts need to listen and learn to improve and rub shoulders with global brands.
